CAD/CAM  LAB

Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer systems to aid in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design.CAD software lab is used to increase the ability of the students to improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing. We installed the mechanical software like AutoCAD 2010, CATIAV5,

ANSYS, CREO 2.O etc.

THERMAL LAB

Mechanical Engineers have to work with various power producing & power absorbing Devices like Boilers, Turbines, Compressor, I.C. Engines, and Pumps etc. In order to understand the principles, construction and working of the devices, it is essential to understand the concept of energy, work, heat and conversion between them. So this lab  is a related to Power Engineering and other related subjects in which the application of fundamental concepts of Thermal Engineering are included

MQC LAB

MQC laboratories are places where both metrology and quality work are performed. The work performed by the students’ influences that might affect the work. Metrology lab concerns the application of measurement science their use in society, ensuring the suitability of measurement instruments, their calibration and quality control of measurements. Although the emphasis in this area of metrology is on the measurements themselves, traceability of the calibration of the measurement devices is necessary to ensure confidence in the measurements done by the students.

RAC LAB

Refrigeration & Air conditioning is one of the most useful area for diploma Engineers with a good knowledge of new Refrigerants. Practical skills in this areas like maintenances, fault handlings & repairs must also be acquired by diploma Engineers. After learning of this subject students should be able to Compare various types Refrigeration cycles, they can List various properties of different refrigerants and appreciate applications of Refrigerants with their ill effects on environment, they can Identity various compartment & controls used in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning practice and Able to assemble, dismantle the components of refrigeration systems along with troubleshoot the refrigeration systems.

TOM LAB

With the help of theory of machines lab diploma engineer should have sound knowledge of fundamentals of machine and mechanism. This lab contains the kinematics involved in different machine elements and mechanisms like gear,cam-follower, follower, belt-pulley, flywheel, brake, dynamometer, clutch, etc.The student will be able to Understand Kinematics and Dynamics of different machines and mechanisms, the function, operation and application of flywheel and governor, operation and application of brake, dynamometer, clutch and Bearing and Find magnitude and plane of unbalanced forces.

FLUID POWER LAB

Workshop

The Students have access to wide range of machine tools. The work shop includes conventional labs like carpentry, Foundry Fabrication, metal working and machining. The workshop also has latest machine tool such as HMT Milling m/c, CNC trainer lathe and CNC trainer milling machine, the objectives of these latest machines is to reduce retraining period of students in industries. Spacious layout and aesthetic looks add to the working environment in the workshop. A team of experts in various machine handlings is always ready to undertake special fabrication and installation jobs.
