ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR FIRST YEAR DILPOMA COURSES

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate

Candidate should be and Indian National and should have passed SSC ( Std. X) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of secondary and Higher secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum 35% marks in aggregate with subjects Math /Mathematics, General Science and English.

Note:  

Term aggregate is defined separately for State Board /ICSE and CBSE candidates in the information Brochure.

Candidates are advised to read online information brochure available on http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/poly2014 before purchasing application kit.

For State Board Candidates who have passed Mathematics (Code 71) and Science & Technology (Code 72) are only eligible for admission.

In case of ICSE & CBSE boards, candidate passed with English, Science and Mathematics is eligible for admission. In case of CBSE candidates, who have passed CBSE std. X school level examination shall not be eligible for diploma admissions, as school exam is not treated equivalent / at per exam of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

DIRECT ADMISSION TO SECOND YEAR DIPLOMA COURSES Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be and Indian National domiciled in Maharashtra fulfilling the conditions prescribed in Rule 2.1 and must have passed HSC Science or HSC (Bifocal / Technical) or HSC (Vocational / MCVC) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or SSC with 2 Year duration ITI/ITI COE with 3modules with appropriate specialization or its equivalent.

Note:    

Candidates with HSC vocational (MCVC) or 10+2 ITI/ITI COE should have passed SSC ( 10th Std) or equivalent examination with subjects English, Mathematics     (Code 71) and Science (Code 72)    

Eligibility of students for the specific branches of Diploma Programmes shall be as per MSBTE guidelines prescribed in rule 4 of the student Information Brochure.     Other than Maharashtra State Candidates are not eligible for admission under CAP.
